On its 25th anniversary,
Digital Divide Data partnered with
Solutions Insights Lab to help capture DDD’s journey. In collaboration with local journalists from Cambodia, Laos, and Kenya, the Lab conducted more than 50 interviews with alumni, staff, and leadership to learn their stories and insights.
Mining these rich interviews, social scientists at Solutions Insights Lab searched for patterns and surprises. Through a process called thematic coding, they captured insights about DDD past, present, and future that could be both meaningful and usable.
Highlights include how DDD shifts the way young people think about themselves and worklife, the ways DDD has responded to changes in the tech sector, and the importance of leadership expertise, and adaptability.
